Effect of Moisture on Granulation

Different equipment has different moisture requirement. The granulation of pan granulator, rotary drum granulator, double roller granulator, etc. mainly depends on the viscosity of materials, and viscosity has a lot to do with water.

The raw materials of organic fertilizer are generally loose after fermentation, so there is need to add a certain amount of water or binder before granulation. The pan granulator adopts aggregate method, and water needs to be added to granulatel; but the requirement of double roller granulator on moisture is relatively low.

Therefore, make clear the moisture requirement of the equipment on the material, so as to produce qualified product.
