What are the factors affecting the fermentation of organic fertilizer?

Temperature: The temperature of the environment where the fermentation takes place is critical for the growth of microorganisms that decompose organic matter. The ideal temperature range for most fermentation processes is between 25°C to 40°C.
Moisture: Moisture is also essential for the growth and reproduction of microorganisms. The moisture content of the organic material should be maintained between 50% to 60% during fermentation.
Oxygen: The presence or absence of oxygen can affect the type of microorganisms that thrive in the fermentation process. In general, aerobic microorganisms require oxygen for their growth, while anaerobic microorganisms grow in the absence of oxygen.

PH: The pH of the environment can also affect the growth of microorganisms. The ideal pH range for most fermentation processes is between 6.0 and 8.0.
Carbon to Nitrogen ratio: The carbon to nitrogen (C:N) ratio of the organic material being fermented is important for the growth of microorganisms. The ideal C:N ratio for most fermentation processes is between 25:1 to 30:1.
Size and shape of the organic material: The size and shape of the organic material can also affect the rate of fermentation. Smaller particles and uniform size can lead to a more even and faster fermentation process.
Microbial inoculants: Adding microbial inoculants to the fermentation process can help to speed up the process and improve the quality of the organic fertilizer. These inoculants contain specific strains of microorganisms that are beneficial for decomposition and nutrient release.
